1. Research Committee
The purpose of is committee is to support scholarly activities of FANA members in their roles as scientists, researchers, evidence-based practitioners, and clinicians. The committee is committed to facilitating member engagement and advancement in food allergy nursing research and scholarship by leveraging the skills, expertise and professionalism of its members and mentors.
2. Advocacy Committee
​The Advocacy Committee supports legislative and policy efforts to advance food allergy nursing, patient safety, and education. Through policy review, expert feedback, and advocacy, the committee promotes access to pre-dosed epinephrine, emergency preparedness training, and other essential food allergy management measures.
3. Membership Committee
The Membership Committee is dedicated to fostering the growth of FANA’s member community both nationally and internationally. To achieve this, the committee engages in the following activities: Conducting monthly virtual meetings Developing and maintaining a member outreach database Engaging in direct outreach via calls, emails, and social media Assessing member needs annually through surveys and feedback Generating monthly reports on membership gains and losses Submitting quarterly reports to the Board of Directors (BOD) Seeking input from the BOD and collaborating with other committees to support membership recruitment and retention efforts
