About the event

The Food Allergy Nursing Association (FANA) in collaboration with the New York Academy of Medicine Nursing Section (NYAM) and Food Allergy Research & Education (FARE), is pleased to host an in‑person screening of A World Unaware: When Every Bite Matters, a documentary currently premiering in film festivals. This exclusive program highlights the lived experiences of individuals and families managing food allergies and aims to deepen healthcare professionals’ understanding of the physical, psychosocial, and policy challenges faced by this growing patient population. Through film, dialogue, and expert perspectives, attendees will gain insight into how clinicians across disciplines can better support patients navigating life with food allergies.
