About the event
FOODiversity's guest speaker, Jessica Jue, RN, will present “Clear Messaging About Infant Feeding: Combating the Noisy Internet with Evidence-Based Practice.”
Jessica serves as the Food Allergy Coordinator at A. Larry Miller Allergy, a clinic outside Washington, D.C. In her role, she works with food allergic families and has a passion for food allergy prevention. She is also a proud member of the Food Allergy Nursing Association (FANA). FANA's mission is to advance nursing education, research, leadership, and professional collaboration in the food allergy subspecialty.
During this one-hour session, attendees will learn:
Why clear, accessible messaging around infant feeding matters
Common misconceptions about introducing potential allergens during infancy
How food insecurity can create barriers to introducing common allergens to infants
